I have naturally curly hair, which can be great to toss into a quick ponytail and on days where the humidity doesn’t bring on unwanted frizz, can make for a simple, natural look, but I’ve been struggling to find a product that can help me achieve a perfect curl and polished appearance. I was thrilled to discover some great products that deliver beautiful curls.

I was blown away by how easy it was to achieve a perfect curl with the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret. Even a curling iron newbie like myself was able to create beautiful, head-turning curls in a matter of seconds.  The Curl Secret automatically draws hair into its curl chamber, heats it from all sides, and beeps to let you know when to release the perfect, bouncy, long-lasting curl.  It operates on three timer settings (8, 10 and 12 seconds) depending on the tightness of the curl you desire. The Curl Secret easily takes in the hair without any struggle to wrap the hair around the barrel or worry about how long the hold should be, and as the heating element isn’t exposed, it’s much easier to avoid those dreaded burns!

Best of all, I was just so impressed with the quality of the curls using this device – they lasted all day (with just a bit of hairspray), had a beautiful bounce, and make it easier to have uniform shape. I find that I have the most success when I blow dry my hair out straight, and then use the curler, to ensure the most refined look. Every time I style my hair with this curler, it takes only a few minutes to create a look that gets me compliments on my hair all day long – not a bad return on my investment!

Another more traditional curling iron we recommend is the John Freida Volume Curls 1 1/2 inch curling iron. It uses ceramic technology and ionic conditioning. The ceramic curling system is a safe way to curl your hair, just requires a little extra patience (well worth it for the healthy curl!). We also found that this iron worked well to retain the hair’s moisture and overall avoided frizz.
