Disclosure: I received some of these products for free in order to facilitate my review for this post. All opinions are true, and my own.

I attend a ton of consumer product conferences, shows, and conventions, and thoroughly enjoy seeking out products intended to make busy moms’ lives easier. Here are a few standouts that I spotted while attending the International Home + Housewares show, as well as it’s New York city preview, that I think will make a big splash in our homes this year:

Charles Viancin Airtight Lids

No more wasteful plastic wrap or aluminum foil! Inspired by nature, Charles Viancin’s Air-Tight Lids offer the beholder both beauty and function. Available in artfully-crafted silicone designs that look like flowers, fruit, and vegetables, these handy suction coverings prove airtight, and safe for use on stovetops, and in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven (up to 428°F). We can’t wait to use our drink covers outdoors this summer!

Ziptuck Reusable Bags

Whether packing lunches, makeup for a weekend getaway, or protecting our cell phone from the elements during a t-ball game, self-locking plastic “baggies” prove handy in so many situations. Full Circle Home now offers consumers a re-usable version – Ziptuck reusable storage bags – made from FDA-Grade EVA material (BPA-free, PVC-free, and Phthalate-free). The durable, air-tight, see-through plastic construction protects their contents, and cleans easily—just pop them into the dishwasher. Going greener just got easier!

The Ultimate Bar Tool from Microplane

Just how we try our hand at favorite restaurant dishes at home, many of us also like flexing our bartender muscle when entertaining. With Microplane’s soon-to-be-released Ultimate Bar Tool, cocktail aficionados can muddle, twist, peel, stir, strain and score to our hearts’ content – all using a single tool! The durable, serrated stainless steel upper features a specialized stirrer, blades to slice or trim, scorer to cut through tough lime and lemon skins, and a channel knife to transform citrus peels into garnishes for impressive, artisan cocktails.

Bialetti Pasta Pot

As relaxing as I find cooking, after a long day at the office, I like to get down to it, and not waste unnecessary time. The Bialetti Pasta Pot provides superior pasta cooking (the 5-quart aluminum design efficiently cooking whole spaghetti and lasagne noodles without breakage) with 2-in-1 cook and drain convenience. With the ability to easily twist and lock the lid securely before straining my pasta, I whip up delicious dinners swiftly and adeptly using this clever pot. The Bialetti Pasta Pot also proves a quick clean, thanks to its nonstick interior walls. A busy mom’s must-have.
