Never again.

Luggage forward completely missed the mark when their agent failed to show up at the designated place and time in Rome, Italy. After repeated calls to verify setup and meeting details, their agent was nowhere to be seen when we finished a cruise in Rome.

We were scheduled to go to other destinations after our cruise, and had planned to use luggage forward to send the cruise formal wear and other items back to the states. When their agent failed to show up, we had no choice but to take the excess luggage with us. Since the follow on portion of our vacation involved several additional airline flights, ferry boat rides, etc., this proved to be a huge inconvenience and expense.

A telephone call to the home office at about midnight (USA time) went to voicemail with no option to speak with a live person to get issues resolved. A complaint email was brushed off, stating I was off the ship early and it was my fault, despite having confirmed several times that my departure from the ship would be earlier than most of the other passengers.

This was a total failure of the luggage forward system. I will not use their service again, ant recommend other people to find a more reliable luggage handling service.
