These two books capture the best of the Chicka Chicka series for parents to read to their young ones: alphabet and vocabulary word play that’s bouncy and energetic. From the opening A of I Love Dad, “To me you are A-mazing” to the closing Z “Oh yes, you’re Z one for me!”, and with fun color images for each letter, Dads have the perfect bedtime read.
In Tricka Treat, the letters all climb to the top of a creaky old tree. Rhymes keep the action humming and the letters dress themselves up in Halloween costumes such as “H swings a tail. I wears a patch. J & K don bows that match.” It’s colorful, vibrant and just bursting with celebratory energy.
