Editor-BiancaaThere is something so satisfying about indulging in some chocolate cake covered in more chocolate, and if anyone is guilty of ordering a dessert, then posting that delicious looking confection on social media for everyone to drool over, it’s this girl. Even more, I am absolutely guilty of seeing someone’s post of a dessert and doing anything possible to get something similar, because all of a sudden, I need it.

Ever heard of the saying ‘you are what you eat’? In this age of rapidly changing technology, the saying ‘you are what you post’ is slowly making its way into our vocabulary. Bolthouse Farms took this saying and ran with it when they launched their new campaign #URWhatUPost. This all started when they noticed a trend; when it came to “food porn” posts on social media; junk food was more often uploaded and liked than healthy foods, and Bolthouse Farms wanted this to change.

After seeing the campaign, I immediately looked at my own social media sites and realized that I am a part of the #URWhatUPost epidemic. I think Bolthouse Farms’ mission to make people more health conscious is important. Not only are they effectively conveying their message, but they are doing it in a fun way, and even the healthiest of dishes can look as delicious and appealing a the comfort foods about which we normally post.
