Friendship, love, and the choice between the two- this storyline may seem identical to that of every other romantic comedy you have ever seen, but with a cast that includes Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin and a number of other familiar faces, The Romantics brings a new spin on the popular theme.

The film follows seven college friends as they reunite after two within the group announce their engagement. The problem- the maid of honor and the groom dated for four years in college and although the relationship dissolved, the emotions did not.

Tension rises as the bride suspects that history is not completely in the past. What happens when seven old friends get together for a weekend wedding on the ocean  anything but boring. In the end, the forces of love and friendship come head to head in this stirring movie that comes out on DVD just in time for Valentine’s Day.
