A Fun Night of Storytelling and Pajamas at Boston’s Hotel Commonwealth!

With February vacation week just around the corner in most parts of the country, the tall task of finding entertaining activities for kids can pose a serious risk of boredom. So, how about a fun night of cozying up to Curious George and listening to bedtime stories when Boston’s Hotel Commonwealth will host the fourth annual Bedtime Stories Storytelling and Pajama Party in February. Located on historic Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Hotel Commonwealth offers families an entertaining night out, perfect for local Bostonians looking to treat their children to a special outing in the city.

The Bedtime Stories Storytelling and Pajama Party will be on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23 from 7 to 8:30 pm and will feature   a night of storytelling, performances, and a make-your-own hot chocolate bar, plus a special visit and photo opportunity with Curious George! The suggested donation is $20 per family, and your donation will be matched by the hotel and donated to the ReadBoston Organization, a program dedicated to children’s literacy.

Don’t forget to have your kids wear their pajamas so you don’t have to worry about getting them ready for bed after the big event is over.

Why my family loves the Bedtime Stories Storytelling and Pajama Party

I’ll be attending this event with my two small children who can’t wait for the big night. Not only do they love Curious George, but there’s something so special about going into the “big city” (not to mention a cool hotel!) that makes for an even more exciting experience. Plus, they get such a thrill when someone (other than me) reads them a story. So, I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when they have a professional performer read and all the other pajama-clad youngsters. Should be quite a memorable experience for all of us!

Since the Hotel Commonwealth ‘s located in the heart of Boston, we’ll make a special weekend of it and stay the night and explore the city the next morning, including walking around Boston Common and ice-skating at the Frog Pond!
