After one of the coldest winters in my recollection, I feel like none of us can complain if the spring and summer are exceptionally warm. One thing we do have to keep in mind as temperatures rise is keeping our perishable foods at optimal temperature when either taking them home from the grocery store or on a trip to the park, the beach, or even just in the train or car to the office.
I discovered PackIt products earlier this year, and my freezable lunch bag has been my go-to for carrying yogurt and perishables to the office when I’m not able to make it straight to work due to off-site morning meetings and appointments. I love it so much that I even purchased one for my colleague for the holidays!
PackIt products are freezable bags. Just put them in the freezer overnight and the insulated bags will keep your food cold for hours. They’re so powerful that even when I unload my items into the refrigerator at work, I find the bag keeps cool for hours longer. Plus, I can even keep a can of iced tea or grapes in the PackIt by my desk. (And let it serve as a temporary portable refrigerator!) It’s so nice to not have to rely on getting take-out and still be able to tote fresh, homemade foods, even when you have a few errands to run before you get to your final refrigerator destination!
We love the whimsical PackIt designs available – and it’s fun to either mix and match your favorite patterns or create a matching set of your favorite PackIt products. For more information or to purchase PackIt, visit packit.com.
