I admit I both love and hate energy-efficient light bulbs. I know from an environmental and energy perspective, they boast nothing but positives, and who can complain about how long they last? But I don’t like the quality of the light they emit. It never feels warm, bright, or strong enough to me. And, as silly as it sounds, I’ve never gotten used to their strange shapes.

Recognizing the quality of light emitted by energy-efficient bulbs looked unappealing to consumers, Finally™ took 3 long years to address the problem properly, developing their one-of-a-kind Acandescent™ technology as the end result. Think of these bulbs as a combination of the warm light of incandescents with the energy efficiency of the LED and CFL options. The breakthrough result proves a lifesaver for people like me who want to use energy-efficient bulbs without compromise. Acandescent lighting offers none of the stark and gray “laboratory” tone that some of the other energy-efficient bulbs produce.

Finally bulbs last about 15 times longer than incandescents. This translates into savings to electric bills, which totally appealed to me as a benefit to LED/CFL options – call this my “aha light-bulb moment.”

Finally light bulbs come in 60w (also comes in a six pack), 75w and 100w, offering plenty of options for the home. I pledged to replace all of my current light bulbs in my house with Finally bulbs, starting with the 60w lamp on my nightstand. Given its 10-year warranty and the fact that it will light my evening book-reading for up to 15,000 hours, the $9.99 price tag nearly delights me.

Purchase Finally Acandescent light bulbs on the brand’s website or at select stores like Staples, by using the store locator on the website.
