All of my family, except my husband, suffers from allergies.
We love exploring Mother Nature, but almost everything causes an allergic reaction. If we smell flowers, we start to sneeze. If we spend time outdoors, our eyes get red and itchy. Throughout this past winter – where we spent so much time indoors because of the endless blizzards – the air became so dry after using the heating system that our allergy symptoms returned. Then, when summer finally appeared, the constant use of air conditioning caused us to live with a tissue box by our side.
We tried many natural and organic medicines – but nothing worked well enough. Then, recently we had the opportunity to test-drive the Venta Airwasher LW45. With an allergic family like mine, who use an air blast heating system, and live in a home covered by carpet – we really wanted to see how the Venta Airwasher worked.
I learned the Venta Airwasher never uses filters and both humidifies and purifies the air to ideal levels. Working with home furnaces and air conditioners, it keeps the air in your home hydrated and gets rid of allergens and dust. All Venta Airwashers continue to be built in Germany, and even though the model I sampled – the LW45 – works in more spacious areas, it still operates efficiently. In addition to this larger model, Venta Airwashers come in two additional sizes – the LW15 for smaller-scale rooms, and the LW25 for mid-sized rooms.
I put the Venta Airwasher on our third level for a few reasons. First, this floor feels warmer and needs more fresh air. Second, my oldest son’s room is on this level, and of everyone in our family, his allergy symptoms seem to be the worst. He uses natural sprays to rehydrate his nose every night to get some relief.
After a few days using the Venta Airwasher, my son stopped using his nose sprays because he felt more comfortable. Every night, he – not me – adds fresh water to the machine, trying to keep it clean by himself. And he now asks if the company sells a portable model? Maybe he wants to take the smaller LW15 model with him wherever he goes?
Before I tried the Venta Airwasher, I never wanted to use any electrical products in our bedrooms, and tried to keep our TV, mobile devices, and other items turned off while we slept. The Venta Airwasher totally changed my mind about this, and now we won’t sleep without it.
The Venta Airwasher LW45 sells for $399.99, and you can click here to get more information.
