The Keurig coffee system, a long-time favorite, just took a huge leap forward with the Keurig Vue, morphing into a personal barista who greets you each morning with a steaming cup of coffee, brewed just the way you like it.
As always, Keurig makes it easy to enjoy fresh-brewed coffee, one cup at a time, but with the new Keurig Vue, customization reaches a whole new level. Now, through an intuitive touch screen, you can control how much coffee you want in your cup – so hello to filling up that big mug; how strong do you like your coffee – for me, as bold as possible, please; and what temperature would you prefer – HOT! HOT! You can also brew a big container of coffee or direct the coffee straight into a to-go travel cup. And for those of us who can’t function in the morning until we have our first cup, the Keurig Vue can be mastered in about 10 seconds.
The Keurig Vuealso incorporates larger pods that come in 32 varieties of coffee and tea – from caramel coffee to cappuccino to herbal teas. For summer drinks, the Keurig Vue also enables you to brew right over ice for a refreshing tall glass of iced tea. And for kids who may be enticed by the machine, check out the hot chocolate, hot cider, or lemonade pods. Best of all, the pods can be recycled – amazing and finally eco-friendly! Lastly, you can whip up foaming milk for lattes via a two-cup process. After using it for a week, I think of the Keurig Vue as the “everything machine”!
Ultimately, I think the Keurig Vue is for the person who’s more discerning and precise in their coffee preferences – the same type of person who carefully chooses a bottle of wine at a restaurant instead of ordering a glass of the house wine. Someone, well, like me!
The Keurig Vue V500 features a list price of $169.
