Mom Central Holiday Gift Guide: Week One

Give a gift that makes a difference this holiday. Build-A-Bear Workshop has partnered with a handful of charities to give back in different ways. Depending on which plush pal you purchase, a number of charities including: First Book, Bearamy’s Kennel Pals, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation will receive a donation.

Your purchase of a special donation pal will help support a variety of causes, including literacy, protection of endangered species, domestic pet support, and children’s, just to name a few. There are a range of bears and furry friends you can give to your child this holiday season or visit your local Build-A-Bear Workshop together and share the experience of making a difference while making a pal!

Some of Mom Central’s favorite friends this season include Turner Owl and Jack Russell Terrier. Turner Owl is one studious bird; he loves to read and he dresses smart, too. Since Turner loves books so much, when you buy him, 50¢ will be donated to First Book and Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation will also donate 50¢ to help children literacy and education programs.

Turner’s friend Jack Russell Terrier belongs to a group of kennel pups from Bearemy’s Kennel. The purchase of fuzzy and fun Jack Russell or any of his loveable kennel friends will result in a donation of $1 to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation in the aid of organizations working to benefit the well-being of domestic pets.

Other donation friends include Snowflake Style Champ bear, who benefits the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation on behalf of children’s health and wellness, and WWF Gray Wolf, who helps support the World Wildlife Fund.
