Bake Like A Pro this Holiday Season with Cake Boss Bakeware from Meyer Corporation

This holiday season, I would love to wow my family and friends by bringing a cake that had the seal of approval from Buddy Valastro, i.e., the Cake Boss from the hit TLC series. After having visited the Carlo’s Bakery numerous times and following the series on TV, I know that Buddy is one of the most skilled bakers in the business, so I was thrilled and inspired when I heard that he had developed his own line of bakeware.

Buddy was very involved in the creation of the Cake Boss Bakeware products, which I noticed during the preview event I attended last summer at his factory in Jersey City. (See my post, Baking Like Buddy – Meyer Launches Cake Boss Bakeware.) Buddy created these bakeware products to make home baking more successful and instill confidence in the kitchen. The line includes whimsical serveware, countertop accessories, stainless steel and wooden tools, and fondant accessories. The bakeware is available in deluxe and professional lines, both of which are crafted from commercial quality steel with rolled edges that will never accidentally cut fingers!

Baking a cake using the 9×13 inch Covered Cake Pan in the deluxe line was the perfect all-around tool for “baking and taking” a cake I recently brought to a potluck dinner party. Transporting the cake batter from the countertop to the oven was seamless, as the pans feature silicone grips, whimsically shaped like rolling pins. These do get hot when taking the cake out of the oven, so remember to use a mitt or potholder! The deluxe pan, which is nonstick, cooked the cake evenly and it was done to perfection in the estimated time given in the recipe.

After taking the cake out and letting it cool, I frosted and covered it – making it perfectly portable and taking the stress out of transporting a frosted creation.
