When my daughter Brooke turned two, we embarked on the journey of transitioning her into a “big girl” bed. After selecting the bed, I spent what felt like weeks doing research on bedding. I think I put more effort into this than I did my own when registering for our wedding shower!

After making these big bedding purchases, I realized we needed to get a pillow as well. Up until this point, Brooke didn’t rest her head on anything in her crib, because she flailed around in her sleep a lot. But I knew she was old enough to get tucked in under the covers and snuggle with a pillow. With that said, I became stumped trying to find the right size pillow for her. I went to all the standard stores, only to find none small enough (and flat enough) for a little head.

Phineas & Ferb: Across the Second Dimension Review and Giveaway »

The first time I saw the main characters from Phineas & Ferb I thought they looked strange. One has a head shaped like a triangle and the other has pants pulled up practically to his armpits. These guys seemed…off. Then I watched an episode of the animated series (because I sat in the same room as my kids and the show was on) and I fell in love with this show. It’s funny, smart, and quirky. The music is outstanding, and I have a hard time choosing my favorite character.
