Classic Looks Remain Stylish and Trendy with French Sole

When it comes to fashion, trends come and go, but it’s the investments we make in tried-and-true pieces that get the most use in our wardrobe, and make us feel the best too! Legendary shoe brand French Sole has been around for 25 years, and has long since embraced the motto that there is “no need to mess with a good thing.” French Sole is the originator of the ballet flat, but one look at their inventory of shoes, and you’ll see that there are many iterations of this style available, plus different looks too, all based in comfort and classically-fashionable appearance.

We love that the brand has expanded its line to include colors, patterns and styles that look modern for the time, but hasn’t deviated far from its overall look and feel, which is why so many women see the brand as a go-to. This is especially evident with some of their classic flats. In particular, we love the Nantucket style as an option (retail $155). It’s a simple ballet flat, and will go with any outfit. The soft leather and sole make them incredibly comfortable and durable, so I’ve been getting a lot of use out of them. And for those occasions where I have to wear a fancy heel, I tend to stow these flats in my bag! They actually fold up very easy so I always have a back-up in hand. The ccognac color is a great neutral, but the Nantucket also comes in black, denim (a deep navy), tomato (a peachy-red), and mustard (a beige-yellow).
