I think the game Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is a great game for people that love puzzles and problem solving. It is a fun game for everyone because it has an easy story line to follow and decently hard puzzles, such as sucking up ghosts with the Poltergust 5,000 to get keys, gears etc. The first boo you will capture is on level 4 “visual tricks”! But you will have to explore to find out where it is! In different levels you will need to go back to get certain things that you could not get before.

What Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is About and Gameplay

The game Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is a game about King Boo flying up and destroying the dark moon. The ghosts that were once kind and helpful went haywire and became destructive and tricky. Now you must help Professor E Gad find the lost pieces of the dark moon and restore it before it’s too late! The motion of Luigi is a simple right foot, left foot. It seems simple, however, designing it and animating it must have been a lot harder. To catch the ghosts you will need to aim and flash the ghosts with A before you suck them up with the Poltergust 5,000 using the right trigger.

Graphics

I think the graphics for Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon are a sight to behold because you can’t see the pixels. The 3D really pops out at you I think it took a long time to develop the characters’ movements but it was time well spent! The colors of the game inside the mansion are mostly brown and black and are gloomy and creepy which makes that part of the game eerie. But outside the mansion there’s green and pink. There’s also the colors of the ghosts which are red, green, orange, etc.

Sound

The sound quality is excellent, but I think they could have made Professor E Gad’s voice a little more realistic. However the ghost and Poltergust 5,000 sounds are totally amazing! My dad likes when Luigi sings along with the background music.

Game Info

Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon sells for about $30-40 it is only playable on the Nintendo 3DS or 3DSXL however you can play it in 2D or 3D.

So far I have loved playing it and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Also my brother, my dad and my neighbor love the game. It is so AWESOME!!!
