* Mom Central attended an event to sample the new Dunkin’ Donuts Bakery Series. All opinions are our own.

When it comes to morning coffee runs (and ok, the occasional afternoon coffee run, too!), Dunkin’ Donuts is always one of our top choices. In recent years, we’ve also loved brewing our favorite coffee brand at home. Anyway we can avoid making an extra stop, while still enjoying the taste we love, is a win for busy Moms everywhere. But apologies may be in order to our regular coffee.

We recently sampled the new pastry-inspired Dunkin’ Donuts Bakery Series coffee, available at grocery stores, and are officially hooked! Last year the brand introduced Blueberry Muffin, Caramel Coffee Cake, Chocolate Glazed Donut, Jelly Donut and Old Fashioned Donut. This year, Cinnamon Roll has been added to the mix, so now we can enjoy some of our favorite Dunkin’ Donuts sweet treats combined with our coffee in an even bigger way – and without the same calorie intake since the days of dipping a donut in your coffee cup may be behind you! Our regular Dunkin’ Donuts coffee will be getting a little bit of a break as we please our palettes with the new mouthwatering brews.

We were really excited to learn that Dunkin’ Donuts has partnered with Hungry Girl Lisa Lillien to showcase all the possibilities with the Dunkin’ Donuts Bakery Series Coffees line. We attended an event in New York City to sample the different coffees, where we met Hungry Girl and got to try her favorite delicious coffee recipes using the Dunkin’ Donuts Bakery Series coffee! You may know Lisa from her best selling books, daily emails, and show on the Food Network and Cooking Channel, where she teaches us how to eat realistically, making simple swaps so we can still enjoy the foods we crave without the guilt.

For all of us with a sweet tooth, we especially like her take on desserts. She has created different recipes showcasing the Bakery Series Coffees, and we were lucky enough to try out a few. The coffee drinks are easy to make at home, and would be a great treat for entertaining friends as well. The best part? They completely satisfied our need for dessert, and upon learning the low calorie count, we were even more blown away.

Here are two of the recipes that you can make at home, including one that uses our new favorite coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts Cinnamon Roll!
