Now that it’s November we can leave the candy and treats behind us and focus on every foodies favorite holiday – Thanksgiving!
With turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and so many more options to choose from it’s hard to pick a favorite dish. Just a simple search for any of these dishes will return a countless number of recipes with each version being different from the next. (I still want to have a deep fried turkey one day!)
It also seems like every family has a few special Thanksgiving recipes passed down from generation to generation. For my family that recipe would be my mom’s stuffing recipe, which she received from her mother. Although this would be my favorite Thanksgiving dish regardless, the sense of family heritage reminds me what I’m most thankful for every year – family.
I’ve included my mom’s stuffing recipe below, which I hope you enjoy! What’s your favorite part of Thanksgiving? Which of your go-to recipes have been passed down in your family?
