‘Tis the season to celebrate both the dads and grads in our lives, and what better way to recognize them with some of the season’s hottest electronics?

A longtime Samsung fan, I loved the opportunity to try out some of the new products the brand launched this year. While Samsung offers a myriad of top-quality electronics, here are our best picks that are sure to please this season’s dads and grads (and you, too)!

Samsung Level On Wireless Headphones: We love the Level On Wireless headphones from Samsung, and we know dads and grads will too!

Noise-cancelling headphones have been a saving grace for me on coast-to-coast flights. Having a high quality headphone versus the ear buds I typically use at the gym makes such a difference and drowns out ambient noise. Level On are by far the highest-quality wireless headphones I have had the chance to experience. The wireless functionality makes for such a hassle-free listening experience, while maintaining a truly top-notch sound experience.

Grads will love using these headphones to listen to music when traveling home, and cancelling out the noise from talkative roommates while streaming videos and music! Dads will love the exceptional sound that Level On emits. The dual diaphragm design exceptionally clear sound with full dynamic range and powerful bass at any volume. Plus, be sure to use one of my favorite apps with the headphones – Milk Music. Milk Music is powered by Slacker and lets you select your favorite music genres for the occasion. It has a really user-friendly design that I find much easier to use than other streaming music services out there.

Samsung Galaxy S 6: Samsung’s latest smartphone is here, and it is better than ever.

Samsung cell phones have always been my smartphone of choice – I think they offer the best in quality, functionality and design. I love my Samsung Galaxy S 5, but I am loving the power and sleek design of this latest model.

The first thing I noticed about the Samsung Galaxy S 6 is the bold all-metal body and glass design. Beyond the aesthetic of the phone, it features more power and speed than any previous Samsung phone with its 64-bit processor. The speed improvement is really noticeable – I was impressed how quickly content loads and how fast it is to switch between apps and screens.

I am always blown away by the stunning sharp displays on the latest Samsung HDTVs, and this phone puts that level of quality right in your hands with the Quad HD Super-AMOLED display, making everything clearer and sharper. I particularly noticed this higher level of clarity when seeing a black screen – the contrast is incredible. The screen also automatically adapts to all light conditions for optimal viewing.

Whether they are watching ESPN highlights or streaming a Netflix video, watching video on this phone is a cellphone viewing experience like no other!

We know that smartphone cameras are important for both dads and grads. We know that grads will be taking many selfies and snapchats to share with their friends on social media, and the 5MP front-facing camera and wide-angle lens will allow them to capture more of the background and all of the many friends that they are sure to meet. I can see a vast improvement over my previous front-facing camera, which I thought was really impressive! The camera lets more light in, and the effect is much crisper and clearer. The ultra-responsive 16MP rear-facing camera features built-in optical image stabilization and Auto HDR, allowing for fantastic shots while you are on the go. You can also easily edit and enhance images straight from the phone, whether you wish to save the image as black and white or even a cartoon.

Dads and grads will likely be using the features of this phone on the go, and will love the fast charging capabilities it offers. The phone charges from zero to 50 percent in about 30 minutes, and with Ultra Power Saving Mode you can get calls and texts for 24 hours. I was thrilled with how fast it charged when I left it charging for just 20 minutes.
