360 Degree Indoor and Outdoor Home Monitoring with Guardzilla

Protecting our homes is irrefutably one of the most important things we can do. We want to make sure that our family, property and possessions are safe, secure, and away from any harm.

Home security has come a long way since the days where our only option was an expensive installed security system.

One of the latest inventions designed to protect our homes comes from Guardzilla in the form of the new Outdoor 360 camera. This camera is the first-ever security and monitoring Wi-Fi camera to deliver full 360-degree streaming HD video and continuous two-way audio communication.

We love that the Guardzilla camera allows us to see a much wider field of vision than any other camera on the market. The two-way communication, audio control, sirens and more give us the ultimate handle on what’s happening at our home, and what we can do to take action should there be suspicious activity.

Setting up the Guardzilla was extremely easy. The app is very user-friendly, and the instructions are very simple to follow.

The Guardzilla Outdoor 360 is configured that it can be plugged in, or when charged, it can hold a charge with normal use for several months. The device comes with a camera stand, and a mounting station where you can mount the camera on a wall or ceiling. The magnetic ball mount is very powerful, so I know the camera will be safe and secure.

The camera is weather resistant, and can withstand extreme heat, cold and moisture.

Using the Android or iPhone application, you can configure your view so that you have the ideal brightness, audio control and contrast for your home. You can set your POV (point of view), and slide your finger on the screen until the desired room view appears on the monitor. To view 360 degrees, you simply drag a finger across the screen in the desired direction, or move your phone in the desired viewing direction. This camera integrates with leading Smart home technology, such as Nest, Google Assitant, Alexa and IFTTT.

For your audio controls, you have a 2-way microphone to begin a conversation, or can press listen to simply hear the activity. You can receive e-mail, text or push notifications when motion is detected.

The event history enables you to view the events your camera records, such as motion events, images taken, and actions (alarm armed). The Live Feed button connects to the camera’s current live video feed.

The Auto Arm setting will automatically arm the home when you leave, and disarm when you return.

You can either automatically set up the 90 decibel siren, or manually engage it when you see suspicious activity. Simply receiving an alert for motion or an activity, then clarifying via the 360 degree video or using the audio controls, can mitigate the need for the siren, but you will certainly find it useful to ward off an unwanted intruder should that unfortunate situation arise!
