As a child, I loved My Little Pony! In addition to watching the cartoons, I would love to arrange my Little Ponies around the playroom, brush their manes and tails, have pony parades, and more (ah the joys of childhood!)

As My Little Pony has remained a favorite for children throughout the decades, parents will appreciate the nostalgia as their kids discover My Little Pony for the first time.

Hasbro has just introduced My Little Pony: Party of One app for iPad, iPhone and Android. The app offers interactive reading fun for My Little Pony fans. The app includes an interactive story where users can read along with the narrator who shares the story of Pinkie Pie and her friends who are planning her surprise birthday party.

The app is designed to be very easy for children to use, and they can flip through the pages of the app storybook, which highlights the words being read aloud so that those learning to read can follow along. Kids can then tap on characters featured on the page to bring them to life, creating extra dialogue for scenes and a fun interactive component to the story. At the end of the story, kids can participate in a word identification game, where they can match up words that were featured in the story as another tactic that helps reading.
