Kokopax baby gear review and diaper tote giveaway

As any Mom can attest to, deciding which baby gear to use can be quite overwhelming. Especially for the first-time pregnant mom who may not even know what kind of gear she’s going to need.

I distinctly remember the complete and utter clueless feeling I had when pregnant with my daughter and trying to figure out what kind of diaper bag to get or baby carrier to use. Help! If you’re anything like me, you may have to go through a few types of products to find the one that’s right for you and your baby. But that’s all part of the process, right?

As Contributing Editor to the Mom Central Baby blog, I’m very lucky to get the chance to review cool and hip baby products. Which is why I’m thrilled to tell you about kokopax. One of the items I received to review with my one-year old son was the Savannah Baby Sun Hat. The collection is made of 100% cotton canvas, with a cool worn-in look and ragged edges. (I love that look on boys – reminds me of the very worn-in baseball hats my husband wears!)

The chin strap is very easy to Velcro together (as so many are difficult to snap or tie) and the Sailor design we reviewed features muted, yet summery cool tones, to match up with any of his outfits. (Check out the picture of Gavin hanging in his new hat last night!) kokopax also features an eco-friendly sun hat, printed using a combination of earth-friendly dyes. Hats come in sizes 6-24 months with a recommended retail price of $19.99.

The kokopax diaper totes are personally my favorite collection. I reviewed the Samantha Diaper Tote in the Watson design. This bag looks anything but something made for toting around diapers! I love the overall look of it – as oversized totes never go out of style. I personally plan on using this for “non-baby” related outings as well!

Made from 100% cotton canvas, it also features a water-resistant lining (thank goodness!) and lots of interior pockets for storing all those bottles, snacks, lotions and toys. In addition to the Watson fabric, the Samantha tote is available in four custom designs. Totes have a recommended retail price of $99.99.
