If New Englanders know one thing – it’s their soup. When the winter months roll in, nothing screams comfort like a warm bowl chicken soup or clam chowder. When your busy schedule calls for a quick and easy meal, New England Country Soup’s a perfect choice.

With all natural ingredients and eight different flavors, New England Country Soup offers delicious options for everyone. Just microwave the soup right in the bag (which is BPA-free) and serve. Although these soups are only available in certain stores, check out the New England Country Soup website, buy your favorite flavor and have it sent directly to your home.

Soup ingredient tracker

Unless we hunt for our own meat and grow our own produce, it’s hard to figure out where exactly all of our food comes from. New England Country Soup wants you to know exactly what and where their products come from – so all you have to do is enter the tracking code found on the product, select your soup and – voila!

The Soup Challenge: Yours vs. Ours

Calling all foodies … here is a soup challenge for you. You can check out all the details at soupchallenge.com, but for now here’s a quick synopsis:

  • Just pick one of their soups and create your own version, which has to be comparable in taste AND nutrition to theirs. Anyone from 14 states can enter, but the live competition, which will be made up of five chosen recipes from each market, will be held in Boston, Providence, Hartford, Cleveland and Columbus.
  • Hurry up and start cooking because entries and voting started November 1st, but you still have time because it doesn’t end until January or February (depending on location).
  • The winner in each market will then move onto the ultimate Soup Challenge in Boston on March 5, 2011 for the chance to win a New England Weekend Getaway.

On your mark, get set, and go get your soup on!
