Mom Central was invited to a Samsung event at the Samsung House in New York City. All opinions are our own.
This past week, we had a great opportunity to attend an event for Samsung to check out all the new products they are introducing this summer with some truly incredible advances for both the kitchen and laundry room. Award winning chefs, Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli, collectively known as “The Franks,” were on hand to prepare delicious meals in the state of the art Samsung House Kitchen.
Hilary Farr, host of HGTV’s “Love It or List It” collaborated with Samsung on the décor noting that “the kitchen is the hub of the home, and homeowners today want a space they don’t just live in, but really love. Samsung has found that perfect balance and, in the process, is redefining and setting new trends in home design.”
Here at Mom Central, we couldn’t agree more. After getting a personal invitation to Samsung House, we weren’t disappointed. It was clear that the innovative company was not only pushing the envelope with their new technology, but also putting tons of thought into satisfying every possible need of their customers.
Some of the coolest additions to the new 2013 kitchen product line were:
- The new four door refrigerator with automatic sparkling water dispenser powered by SodaStream. An industry first, which allows families to enjoy chilled sparkling or still water right from the fridge!
- The new four door refrigerator with convertible zone that can store up to 25.5 cubic feet of fresh food and has a total capacity 32 cubic feet – that’s 32 bags of groceries in one fridge!
- The slide-in Flex Duo Oven Electric Range with its high end look and slide-in design that can be coupled with the Flex Duo Oven to give an ultra modern feel with the capacity to bake two dishes at the same time.
But Samsung didn’t stop in the kitchen. To perfectly compliment the gorgeous new kitchen appliances, Samsung rolled out its incredible five cubic foot capacity high-efficiency top-load washer that allows costumers to wash more in a single load than any other washing machine in its class. And when we say more, we mean 36 towels in one load! Or, two and a half large laundry basket’s worth if you don’t own 36 towels like us. With unsurpassed washing performance, chrome accents, a curved glass lid, and ice-cool LED control panel, this washer is a total must have for any laundry room.
We were extremely impressed with the new line of appliances and are excited to see future innovations. To learn more about their line of products, visit Samsung’s website.
