Coco Chanel is believed to have said, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and remove one accessory.” That’s because you can have too much of a good thing, a philosophy that applies to the home, as well. Any realtor or decorator knows that decluttering proves the simplest way to enjoy a new look in your home.

Designed to look gorgeous in your kitchen while occupying only a small amount of space, the New Kitchen Collection from Braun marries German efficiency with stylish functionality in this range of must-have appliances.

A well-respected German brand, Braun has long been known for quality consumer products, with De’Longhi (known for superior design) manufacturing its small kitchen appliances since 2012.

My favorite in the line proved the Braun Multiquick 7. No matter what was on the menu (and I love to cook!), this multi-functional handheld device chopped, grated, mashed, whisked, blended, shredded, and emulsified with ease! The EasyClick Patented design saw to it that the various attachments came off with one simple click.

Braun’s exclusivePowerBell Technology Durable stainless steel blades and unique bell-shaped blending shaft produced great results. I appreciated how intuitively it operated, like the way the Multiquick 7 changed speeds by simply adjusting my pressure on the trigger! With the Multiquick 7, get it all done (even baby food!) with a minimalist look – no giant food processor required!

Every kitchen needs a pitcher blender, be it for breakfast smoothies, or happy hour Margaritas! The Braun PureMix Blender with SmoothCrush system easily combines ingredients, and crushes ice! As a commuter, I appreciated the Smoothie2Go Blending Set, which helps make sure I enjoy breakfast, even on-the-go! Best part? Throw it in the dishwasher.

At a price point that won’t break the bank, the PureMix Blender accomplishes routine blending jobs with ease, and looks fabulous in the kitchen. Its contemporary stainless finish and clean edges will complement any kitchen decor.

And finally, an appliance that deserves a place of importance (or reverence?) in every busy woman’s kitchen: the BrewSense Coffee Maker. More than just a pretty appliance, make up to 12 cups of perfectly-brewed coffee every time. Braun doesn’t want us to settle for below average brew – they believe exceptional coffee flavor is about nuance and balance. Braun’s unique PureFlavor system brings out the essence and complexity of each coffee bean, resulting in a terrifically-satisfying pot of coffee, every time.

If you forget to program your BrewSense the night before for your morning cup of joe, fret not: the BrewSense’s Anti-Drip System lets you pause and pour – mid-brew! – with no mess. It also features a warming plate to keep the pot at the ideal temperature for lazy-day enjoyment.
