Starting Fresh with Quality Bargains for The Home from TJMaxx.com

Spring always feels like a time of year to start new, and for myself in particular, I had extra motivation to source some new fresh items for the house as I recently purchased my first home.

As exciting as it feels to move into a new place – especially a first purchase – it brings with it the stress of moving, packing, and deciding what will stay and what will go – and what is in need of an upgrade (do I really pack that old silverware set or think about getting a new one?). Once everything passes the “packing test” there remains the added challenge of making sure that items fit in the new space, which typically requires a few additional purchases!

Given how busy I was with the move, I decided to first see what was available online at www.tjmaxx.com that could be a fit in my new place. In addition to offering great prices, every order over $75 qualifies for free shipping, which we can appreciate, especially when purchasing larger, heavier items that would be a hassle to carry home or expensive to ship from elsewhere!

The website does not allow you to search by brand, but instead by category, which ended up exposing me to dozens of brands – both well-known and emerging – that offered beautiful, affordable products for the home.

Even as big of a fan of T.J. Maxx as I am, I was overwhelmed by some of the bargains. Instead of packing my set of old dishes (with their cracks and chips) I wanted to look into a new set, and fell in love with this 16-piece Tranquility Set from Oneida for just $49.99. The beautiful blue floral pattern is perfect for spring and summer, and I love the quality of these pieces! As an added bonus, they are microwave and dishwasher safe! I have seen this same set online for $20 more.

I decided it would be nice to invest in some new hand towels, and love the pattern on these Garden Graffiti hand towels from Lenox. The towels themselves are impressively soft and not rough and abrasive like other hand towels you’d find for this great price. There were so many options to shop for that could spruce up the bathroom. Tissue holders, soap dishes, and more were sold individually and in sets based on your needs. I love this Radiance lotion pump – solid and classic with the jazzy element of the mirroring around the neck.
