I recently moved to a new condo, and felt overjoyed to have graduated from a galley kitchen to a larger one that would allow me to flex my cooking muscle, try out some new kitchenware I never had the space for, and share my favorites with you!

The name Le Creuset is synonymous with culinary excellence and enthusiasm. Its products deliver superior results, and prove both long-lasting, and beautiful. Whenever I use my Le Creuset French Press, I get lots of “oohs” and “aahs” from guests as it elevates our dishes, providing consistent, even cooking and baking experiences.

I was excited to discover the beautiful Heritage soup bowls from Le Creuset, styled after the traditional lion’s head soup bowl with classic French styling. I love making soup, and these bowls are perfect – other bowls I have used are just too wide and I feel like I am constantly scraping the bottom. This bowl sits upright and offers the ideal single-serving portion experience. For great value, we recommend the Marseille Soup Set, which includes two Heritage soup bowls, a ladle, and a 4 and 1/4 quart soup pot, offering a savings of $95 versus purchasing these items individually.

The soup pot proves ideal for stove-top simmering – its sloped sides make cooking more efficient by promoting continuous movement even when the lid is in place. The loop handles offer you a sturdy grip to transfer the soup pot to your table. The ladle is made of two materials- a sturdy glass-reinforced nylon and flexible silicone, making it easy to conform to the edges of pots and pans while retaining its strength and durability.

Rest your soup pot on this gorgeous deluxe round trivet from Le Creuset. Its elevated tripod keeps your countertop or table safe from heat, and the design is classic and will not take away from any centerpiece or place setting.

I love homemade pizza as much as I love homemade soup, but my pizza dough often turns out a bit misshapen, and cooks unevenly. That is all in the past thanks to the Le Creuset Pizza pan, perfectly shaped for a 13” pizza. Air holes in its heavy-gauge carbon allow for proper air flow and ensure a golden crust. Silicone grips that make it easy to take in and out of the oven. Le Creuset features several heavy-duty carbon pans, including this loaf pan, which is bound to replace the disposable aluminum ones I used to use!

I turn to Dreamfarm for extremely useful kitchen gadgets! Already a big fan of their products including the Teafu infuser (where loose leaf tea can easily steep and be removed from your cup of tea) and the Supoon (a elevated spoon rest ideal for protecting your countertops and for getting food easily out of jars), we discovered some additional products that we love as part of the Australia-based company’s repertoire:Chopula, a thin and flexible chopping spatula features a strong opposite side – ideal for chopping! Like the Supoon, its clever handle design keeps the head off the counter so you can easily place it down without worry of contamination or mess while cooking. We loved using Chopula to help us bake cookies – its flexible handle proved ideal for lifting the dough while the hard side was perfect for ensuring that each ball of cookie dough was separated from the next. It performs great for frying an egg or mincing meat, too!

Smood is a smooth masher that helps craft the perfect mashed potatoes, pumpkins, or even guacamole in seconds. Simply push down on the fruit or veggie and its spring flattens the food with force, trapping food between its thin gaps. It was so easy to make guacamole with the Smood – and then easily scrape the avocadoes into our dip bowl by scraping the mash out using the plastic edge.

A really nifty device for peeling vegetables is the Swiss Curve Peeler from Swissmar. Whenever I am peeling potatoes or ginger, it’s always such a pain to see the peels flying everywhere – making sure I find them all to pick up off the floor! With Swissmar’s Curve Peeler, that issue is no longer a problem, because the unique curve peeler keeps the peel attached to the device so it won’t get in the way or end up all over your kitchen!

If you’re a bagel fan like I am, you will love the Spachello. This dual-sided knife allows you to cut through bagels and breads and then switch to spreading cream cheese or butter. It’s also perfect if you like to adorn your bagel with a slice of tomato or cheese without contaminating your spread.

For these and other kitchen essentials – from the standard items to those that you did not know you needed until you see them – visit the Le Creuset, Dreamfarm, and Swissmar websites.
