Mom Central received the AppSYNC from Weight Gurus to facilitate this review. All opinions are our own.
Stepping on the scale is one of those activities that has an awful stigma attached to it. When you are trying to lose weight, often times the number can be discouraging until you get to your goal weight. However, any physical trainer or nutritionist will recommend you get into a routine of tracking your weight to ensure your fitness and calorie consumption are on track.
Weight Gurus have come up with a genius way to track your weight without having to see that dreaded weight number the appSYNC scale. After first stepping on the scale and logging your weight, the scale will recognize the user the next time you step on and simply alert you of your progress, such as -2.3 pounds or +1.2 pounds, and so on. The focus is on the change versus that stigmatized weight number. The scale also connects automatically to your smartphone (iOS and Android) so you can track progress and stay motivated. I personally find that the progress tracking method is much more motivating and encourages me to weigh myself much more frequently.
The scale can track up to eight users with auto-detect technology, so that each member of your family can be accurately recognized with their weight loss progress. The weightless scale takes your weight and identifies you as a user based on your weight. The numbers are easy to read on the 4.5″ wide LCD screen.
At least for me, I’ve found this scale a much more motivational device to use in staying healthy and fit, as it emphasizes the progress!
