Peet’s Coffee and Tea recently introduced its first new permanent coffee blend in eight years, Uzuri African Blend. What makes this coffee extra special is that Peet’s collaborated with the nonprofit TechnoServe to bring wonderful East African coffees to American java fans while creating a sustainable business model for farmers and their communities.
Uzuri African Blend is available in grocery stores nationwide from February 15 to March 31, 2010 for $9.99 for a 12 ounce bag. You can also order it in Peet’s coffeehouses and at Peets.com, where it sells for $13.95 a pound (plus shipping) for espresso, whole bean, press pot or percolator, drip pot, or commercial brewer grinds.
Visit Peet’s Coffee and Tea on Facebook and on Twitter to learn more about their coffees and teas.
