What makes this coffee extra special is that Peet’s collaborated with the nonprofit TechnoServe to bring wonderful East African coffees to American java fans while creating a sustainable business model for farmers and their communities.

Uzuri African Blend is available in grocery stores nationwide from February 15 to March 31, 2010 for $9.99 for a 12 ounce bag. You can also order it in Peet’s coffeehouses and at Peets.com, where it sells for $13.95 a pound (plus shipping) for espresso, whole bean, press pot or percolator, drip pot, or commercial brewer grinds.
