With spring on its way, peak allergy season also lurks around the corner. For those of us like me who suffer from allergies to mold, monitoring air quality is important year-round to preserve both health and wellbeing. For this reason, I felt so excited to discover a year-round air home purification product from Dyson – the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link.

I always find it remarkable to read the statistics about how indoor air quality compares to the outdoors. Often times our homes are filled with mold and bacteria, and so it proves important for all of us – especially those with allergies – to mitigate poor air quality with trusted and reliable products. Having an air purifier at home can help capture pollution, pollen, mold, bacteria, and odors.

The Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link™ purifier heater uses a 360° Glass HEPA filter. Unlike other air purifiers that can force pollutants through the filter and back into the room, Dyson’s air purifier technology captures 99.97% of potentially harmful particles as small as 0.3 microns – trapping them in the filter and removing them from the air you breathe. In auto mode, the Pure Hot+Cool Link will automatically monitor indoor air quality and thermostat heat control allows you to set the target temperature for your room, and your machine will keep it there. You can set the air target based on your sensitivity to particles and pollutants to ensure you are using the machine efficiently and to its fullest potential.

We love that the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link allows us to smartly and efficiently monitor air quality, humidity and temperature using the Dyson Link mobile app. You can monitor the air quality in your home viewing patterns on the app, so you can see what times are peak for air pollution, which could come when cooking, cleaning, or when you have a lot of fresh flowers in the home. The app will even monitor the hours remaining before you should change the filter, and alert you when you should shop for a replacement filter.

One of my favorite features of this purifier is that it allows you to purify the air while controlling the air temperature, making it a truly year-round product. A previous purifier I had would make our home drafty when it kicked into full power, given the steady fan speed it produced when purifying. With this device, you can purify while emitting heat, and can even select airflow preferences, from long-range powerful airflow to diffused airflow with wide projection.

We keep the Dyson Hot+Cool Link in our open concept kitchen/living room, so that it can clean the air in the largest room in our home where we spend a lot of time. It’s so interesting to monitor the device when we are cooking, as it powerfully purifies the air when cooking fumes are emitted from our gas stove.

The device comes with a two-year standard warranty, so you can have confidence that the device will be a reliable purchase for your home. For more information on the Dyson Hot+Cool Link purifier, visit www.dyson.com.
