Expanding on our Boot Styles with AEROSOLES

The riding boot is a winter staple for us, and we’ve written plenty of posts showcasing our favorites colors and looks. That will never change. But sometimes, we like to go beyond our standard shoe style for ones that are fashionable, will keep us warm, and are comfortable too. For that, we turned to one of our favorite shoe brands, AEROSOLES, and were not disappointed with the options.

Our first boot is one that took a little personal convincing. We had it on our list, than took it off, put it back on, and took it off. Because fringy, moccasin-style wedge ankle boots seemed maybe a little hard to pull off, and VERY different from our norm. Our favorite way to wear these is with jeans tucked in to show off all the elements of the boot, and wearing a chunky cream-colored sweater on top pulls together a polished ensemble.

We continued to embrace the ankle bootie trend with the Monument style. We loved the punch design in the suede, and thought this shoe would work well paired with dresses or slim leg pants. We decided to go with the dark blue color as it’s a great option for a neutral beyond a black, brown or grey. Even with a higher heel than we typically wear, the Monument is still incredibly comfortable thanks to AEROSOLES’s patented heel rest design technology.

Lastly, we usually keep our knee high boots to a flat heel, but we decided to deviate a bit and went for the Profit Rouched Knee High Boot, which comes with a small wedge heel. The dark gray color was our favorite by far, and we love the way this boot pairs with leggings and a long sweater or tunic.
