Dover International Speedway, located in Dover, Delaware – an easy drive from cities such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., plays host to the AAA 400 Sprint Cup Series race, which is the first knockout race in the 10-race chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup!

The race takes place over the October 2^nd-4^th weekend and offers an opportunity for the entire family to enjoy the excitement of a NASCAR race, as well as a host of other family-friendly activities. A natural weekend getaway destination, Dover International Speedway offers enough new happenings and excitement that it puts an entirely new spin on the family travel experience. Not to mention, live concerts. With previous performances by Jerrod Niemann, Thompson Square, and Cassadee Pope, the Monster Mile will be hosting the X Ambassadors for the Fall NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event weekend.

This year Dover International Speedway launched their new kids club, Monster Mile Youth Nation. This club is exclusively for race fans ages 14 and under, and it provides opportunities for young fans to explore the sport of NASCAR at Dover International Speedway. Those who subscribe to an annual membership receive a free FanVision rental for one race weekend, gain special VIP access to areas in the Monster FunZone, and receive a free welcome gift.

Dover International Speedway also offers kids a chance to meet these “real-life” racers through driver Q&A’s with Martin Truex Jr. and Jimmie Johnson, along with NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East driver autograph sessions (Oct. 2-3).
