That’s a nice stroller! Test driving the iCandy peach stroller

As I strolled my baby girl into Carters for a new Easter/birthday dress, both cashiers stared in awe, with mouths slightly agape, of the iCandy peach Kaia was riding around in.

The iCandy peach was sent to me to test drive. I already have two strollers at home, so my husband was a little upset that I chose to bring yet another large baby product into our already cluttered home. I told him, “Honey, it’s just for a product review. I will either give it back, or give it to someone who needs it.” But I’m not giving it back. I mean this thing is a Cadillac compared to my other strollers. Kaia looks good in the iCandy.

Easy to assemble

Some of my Mom Central colleagues were so intrigued by the big box that arrived in my office that the moms in the office jumped to help me put it together. I can’t credit only myself with assembly, but I can say it took three of us under five minutes to assemble. The funny part was the day I received it, I had on a black dress with a peach-hued velvet jacket matching the stroller perfectly. I then sashayed around the office pushing my empty stroller just so everyone could see how fashion-forward my stroller and I were.

My favorite iCandy peach features

icandy peach strollerI have taken the iCandy peach out for a few jaunts and here’s what I love most.

The iCandy offers both a forward-facing and rear-facing seat option and three reclining positions. I really like the rear-facing feature as it allows me to interact with Kaia as we’re strolling. My other strollers only have my baby facing out and I feel like I have to keep checking on her as we walk. The handle can be adjusted by height, and I’ve found that I really enjoy setting the handle as long as it can go as it suits my longish arms and I don’t feels as if I’m slumping over.

Another benefit which I’m sure won’t be mentioned anywhere else, is the heft of this stroller really offers the pusher a fantastic workout. Just the other day I took Kaia out for an hour walk and by the end, I felt I worked my calves, thighs and glutes!

Some other options worth noting:

  • The option to convert from a single to a double allowing the stroller to grow as the family does. (Not that I’m considering adding to my family – but it’s a good option to have.)
  • Bassinet seat for younger babies,
  • The easy-close chassis folds in a single motion, and also comes with a durable carrying strap.
  • Extra-large storage compartment underneath – super convenient for those days at the mall.
  • Fabric that can be easily removed and a liner that’s machine-washable.
  • All-wheel suspension and puncture-free foam tires for safe and smooth transportation, which work great on and off-road. Although this stroller is one to be seen.
  • Extra-long, adjustable hood.

For moms looking for a luxury stroller, that looks like a luxury stroller, the iCandy peach is a great consideration. The iCandy can be found at retailers such as Amazon, and MyStrollers.com, and StrollerDepot.com.
