Jam with the Jitterbugs Kindie Band in Arlington

Come and enjoy a unique mix of indie rock and kid’s music put on by Karen Kalafatas and her band, the Jitterbugs, at the Regent Theatre on Satuday, March 10^th! Karen recently relocated to the Greater-Boston area and hopes to bring her fun, high energy retro music designed for newborns to five year olds to the area. Karen and her band work to create music for both families and children to enjoy and not only put on concerts drawing crowds of 400 plus people, but also teach classes focusing on vocal play, rhythm training, instrument exploration, and games.

The Jitterbugs recently released their debut album Pancakes for Dinner and were named a “Critics Pick” in Time Out New York Kids and in New York Magazine. While they work on their second album, they plan to perform at a number of locations in the Boston area this summer.
