In the rush of breakfast, packing lunches, and getting everyone out the door on time, we Moms often settle for gathering our hair into a quick ponytail instead of carving out time to actually style our hair. But the EasyCurl curling iron by Runway Tools demonstrates that hope exists for time-pressed Moms.

Fully operational from just the touch of your thumb, this iron frees your wrist from twisting and turning in the usually uncomfortable pursuit of great hair. The “soft touch” button, which spins the barrel just by pressing it, makes creating the perfect curl a painless experience. Without having to manipulate arm and wrist, the EasyCurl iron helps to eliminate the potential of burning yourself with its revolutionary spinning barrel.

The ceramic barrel allows for hair to be curled but not fried, and forget cinching your fragile ends with heat. This tool works from the middle of your strands, thus avoiding the damage other tools can cause by focusing on the most fragile part of your hair. By not clamping the ends, the EasyCurl creates healthier, fuller looking curls.

The temperature can be set from 325 degrees to 450 degrees and displays on a blue and white LCD display screen. Runway tools recommends that people with fine, fragile hair set the iron between 325 and 400 degrees, and that people with thick, coarse hair, set the iron between 400 and 450 degrees, for best results. Best of all, the process took me about 20 minutes as opposed to my usual 40-minute attempt with other tools.

On so many hectic mornings, I’ve found myself running out the door and forgetting to shut off a flat iron or curler. So I love the fact that the EasyCurl features an automated “shut off,” that turns the iron off after 60 minutes. And, the swiveling cord made it easy to wrap and put away and allows for fret-free storage as it won’t knot or tangle.

The iron comes in two convenient sizes – a 1’’ medium sized barrel that retails for $160 and the 1.5’’ large barrel for $175. Check out runwaytools.com to see the company’s whole line of products and to watch step-by-step styling videos.
