School’s out and kids look for new ways to stay entertained and engaged during the summer months. On rainy summer days or too hot afternoons, playing a few video games can serve as a fair reward for working hard on final papers and exams to finish up the school year.
The Nintendo Wii U Game & Wario, rated E for everyone, offers 16 wacky and unusual games for the Wii U GamePad controller. Shoot arrows, become a pirate, go skiing, sketch drawings, play detective, and more in the new games. These multi-screen action games have single and multi-player options for up to five players. Colorful graphics pop out of the interactive, quirky games that use the GamePad controller in new and creative ways. Players also earn special tokens as they advance. The tokens can win them in-game prizes or unlock new minigames to play.
In the game Pirates, players block arrows fired from a ship and use the controller as a defensive shield. In Shutter, players attempt to spot characters from a suspect list. They must zoom and snap photos using the GamePad as a camera to catch them. In Design, players can compete to build a high-tech robot under the direction of crazy scientist Dr. Crygor. The player that best meets the design demands wins. The slew of 16 games can keep kids entertained in a variety of engaging ways.
Wii U Game & Mario will be released on June 23, 2013 and will retail for $39.99. You can explore each of the 16 games or pre-order online at gameandwario.com.
