Social media proves awesome in so many ways, but we can lose track of what, when and how often we post. We share tons of information, making the ability to control how long our personal content lives online highly desirable. With a simple click of a button, BackPeddle helps us manage our pictures, videos and texts.
A new social media platform, BackPeddle allows you to add an expiration date or instantly delete your posted pictures, videos and texts. Able to link to Facebook, Twitter and Google +, this application gives you control over the life cycle of your images.
To use this innovative application, you simply take a picture or video and upload it to BackPeddle, decide an expiration date, and set your privacy settings to determine whether that posting will be linked with other social media platforms. On the expiration date, the picture wipes away instantly from all platforms, but remains in your BackPeddle account for your eyes only. If you want it deleted before the expiration date, you can easily remove it whenever, wherever.
Users create their own profiles and can follow friends whose postings then show up on their own BackPeddle feed. Users are also able to view any photos or videos that have been posted on the app by any user, enabling you to explore and discover new content. To arrange who can see particular posts, simply adjust your privacy settings.
BackPeddle is available for free download on mobile app stores for iPhone and Android users. For more information, visit backpeddle.com.
