Blasting through the universe of math since 1985, Math Blaster is finally arriving at its new home- Mathblaster.com! Launched early in January, the program allows kids to initiate space missions through the new universe of aliens, astronauts, galaxies and of course the Intergalactic Space Patrol (ISP) while practicing and reinforcing a variety of math skills.
Kids jump on board and join the ISP as honorary space cadets set out to save the universe by solving math problems. As soon as kids step into the online realm of Blaster Academy they begin their exploration through outer space – only to return back to planet earth when they have fine-tuned their math abilities and conquered their own school-based galaxy.
I love MathBlaster’s ability to disguise math through interactive space missions. The online format of the game enables your kids play wherever you have internet access and also allows them obtain constantly updated levels and games as well as entrance into the JumpStart realm where additional learning games await.
