From the studio and producers of the critically acclaimed film, The Blind Side, Warner Bros. Pictures presents its latest family release, Dolphin Tale.

Inspired by a true story, Dolphin Tale portrays the story of a young boy’s heroism, determination, and incredibly big heart.  When Sawyer Gamble unexpectedly stumbles upon a helpless dolphin (Winter) caught in a crab trap along the beach shore, his summer plans instantly take an interesting turn.  

Sawyer, enthralled in Winter’s future, focuses on helping to restore the dolphin back to full health. But soon after Winter’s rescue, her condition spirals downward in a heart wrenching fight for survival that captures the whole community’s attention.

Packed with suspense, life lessons, and familiar celebrity faces (including Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, and Harry Connick, Jr. among others), this film will take you on an unforgettable, emotional ride that the whole family will enjoy.  

If you have any junior-level readers in your family, you can pick up a book copy of Dolphin Tale to read before (or after) watching the film. This could be a fun way to compare any differences or discuss any expectorations when watching the movie or reading the book.
