This year more than ever before, I’ve noticed the whimsical beauty of the budding cherry blossom trees in and around the New York City area. Seeing the vibrant pink petals on my way in to office or during a walk in the park has been nothing short of a magical way to welcome spring.
To celebrate the season and commemorate Le Creuset’s 25 years in Japan, the iconic culinary brand has launched its Sakura collection, where favorite products from Le Creuset are adorned with cherry blossoms, the traditional Japanese symbol for spring.
We had the opportunity to test out the beautiful Sakura tea set from Le Creuset, consisting of a 1-quart capacity teapot and matching bistro mugs.
The teapot includes a built-in stainless steel infuser that holds loose tea leaves while they steep, allowing for an easy brew and swift, seamless removal when it’s time to enjoy your pot.

The mugs are made of durable stoneware that is resistant to cracks and ripping. The detail is beautiful, with dainty cherry blossoms on the mug exterior as well as on the inside, brightening your tea with every sip.
In addition to enjoying tea in these beautiful bistro mugs, they are large enough to use as a vessel for a large cappuccino, ice cream, or even a fruit and yogurt parfait.
We love these products as an ideal pick for a Mother’s Day gift to recognize your Mom, a friend, or to add to your own wish list!
