Mom Central received a Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer to facilitate this review. All opinions are our own.

I consider myself a semi-crunchy Mom. I love the thought of only eating organic, but sometimes convenience and a need to get healthy foods into my family fast takes over. I love the thought of cloth diapers, but my daycare isn’t keen on the idea. And I DO order those little jars of organic baby food for my nine-month-old, but in the end, it’s still processed food.

Enter Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer. I can’t believe how easy this little machine makes cooking for my baby. I do the peeling and chopping, and the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer does the rest. I want fast, nectarines – Elli’s favorite. No problem! I just peel and cut the fruit, and throw it in the mixer. Pour some measured water into the steam compartment and turn to “steam.” When it’s all done, turn the knob to “puree.”

I love the fact it can all be done in one unit without multiple steps. And lately, I’ve been dicing all of my fruits and vegetables and just steaming them for quick meals and snacks Elli can eat on her own with her little pincer grasp. Didn’t think that making my own baby food could be so easy!
