I never considered the thought that the very pretty and stylish diaper bag I picked out for my registry might not look as cool on my husband. Sure, he’s in touch with his feminine side, but he does deserve to carry his baby daughter around without schlepping the flowery tote I picked out to suit my taste.
I recently had the pleasure of reviewing a more unisex bag that any dad would be confident carrying. The Fisher Price CarryAll Diaper Bag not only comes in a gender-neutral army brown color, but is set up for even the most unorganized dad. It has a double zip top for a wide opening, extra large interior for storing not only baby’s clothes but an extra sweatshirt for dad and three “FastFinder” pockets that make finding pacifiers, wipes and bottles a snap with miniature pictures of each item embroidered on the outside.
My husband is the type that tends to ask me where he can find something even when it’s right in front of his face. The separate wipes compartment on the outside of the bag is an ingenious idea, where even a guy like my husband can find the wipes without ever opening the bag. Also, the bottle pocket is insulated to keep bottles cool. No more mini coolers stuffed in the diaper bag!
This bag is a steal at only $22 at WalMart.com. It is part of a new collection of similar unisex Fisher Price bags including a doctor style bag and a backpack version.
The CarryAll makes a great diaper bag for anyone looking to have key essentials on hand in easy to find, or for husbands like mine that are confused by all of the gear that comes with having a new baby.
