On the Go with Emilie M. Handbags

Let’s admit it, we can never have enough bags, right? Especially those of us with multiple personas! For me, I need one bag for all my work gear, including my laptop, and then another smaller bag for all my personal items. That’s just on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. On the other days, I’m home with my two young kids running around to preschool, bus stops and sports activities, which require more of a functional, roomy tote. I’m not one of those women who can use one bag for everything, as I like diversity and to match up my accessory to my current activity (cute bag for work versus practical one with the kids!)

I was lucky enough to receive the bag of my choice to review and after deep thought I chose to go with a new bag for my laptop and other work gear. I chose the Olivia Ostrich Tote in Black/Chestnut as I needed to spice up my work wardrobe, especially on those days when I meet with clients and am traveling.

I love this bag! The two-tone color is fantastic with the soft, black ostrich fabric, paired with the chestnut color vegan leather. Super chic and versatile to go along with any outfit I may be wearing – dressed up or dressed down. Very room in the middle to fit my laptop and other essentials with two side outside pockets for my water bottle and other things I may need quick access to while out and about like an umbrella! This bag retails for only $85 and for an additional $25 you can complete the look with the Essentials Box, a matching set of 5 accessories including a wallet, cosmetic case, scarf, umbrella and key ring!

After success in its first year as an online brand, Emilie M has recently branched into in-person retail. The company has opened a “pop-up shop” at the Natick Mall in Boston, MA.
