We all want to make sure our children are eating a balanced diet, and it’s part of our job as parents to get those fruits and veggies in. I try to make sure my 13- year-old has some fruit for breakfast and a salad or a veggie with dinner every night, but during school is a different story. With the baby, I have more control over her food intake (as much as she allows me to!). Since she's 11 months old, I’m able to feed her most everything I am eating at home, and try to make everything fresh myself, but sometimes life is too hectic to make her meals from scratch for lunch at daycare.

Jack’s Harvest frozen organic baby food makes it easy for moms

Because I’m a working mom, I still rely on baby food for daycare days because it’s quick, easy and eliminates my stress of having her choke when someone else is feeding her. I found Jack’s Harvest frozen organic baby food makes for quick, fresh lunch packing. The ingredients are all-natural, with an interesting twist.

So far we’ve tried sweet potatoes with broccoli or “sweet on broccoli with a dash of cinnamon”, and apples and peaches blend called pappelsauce, peas with mint, and carrots with ginger. Each frozen heart-shaped portion smelled just like the real thing! I can drop a few cubes in a container and know they’ll be ready to eat by lunchtime.

So far Kaia’s favorite is the “sweet on broccoli with a dash of cinnamon.” My guess is she doesn’t even know the green stuff is in there because she gobbles it up, and as I’ve been complaining about lately, she won’t touch her green veggies!

Jack’s Harvest baby food is USDA certified 100% organic and contains no preservatives, artificial flavors or colors, salt, sugar or fillers and only using organic fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.  Food is prepared in small batches and then quickly frozen in heart-shaped cubes to capture the natural flavor, vibrant color and health benefits. In addition to retail locations, Jack’s Harvest can also be purchased on Amazon.com.
