Fresh-faced beauty trends from CARGO Cosmetics

From a fashion-forward night out on the town, to a bright look for a day out with friends, CARGO Cosmetics, one of our favorite makeup brands, has a great line of products for every occasion. We know that beauty trends are constantly evolving, and CARGO is able to stay on top of new looks, while remaining a reliable brand that actually feels good when the products are on your skin! When colder weather has us bundled up with only our face showing, we’re sometimes more compelled to ensure that we add an extra swipe of brush or mascara, which is why we love some of these CARGO items.

Though not many of us are going for a dark tan glow on our faces from the sun or tanning beds, a little color can still be a good thing, especially when winter adds an additional look of paleness. We have many friends who shy away from using bronzer, but we suggest throwing those preconceptions out the window and adding CARGO Swimmables Bronzer to your makeup bag right away. It’s a great option if you want to play with your hues as well by taking a smaller brush and using just one of the color strips. But our no fuss approach of swirling all the shades at once and adding to our cheeks, worked great for us. The iridescent quality from light reflective mica gave us a just a bit of sparkle, so we even felt comfortable leaving the house with just the blush on! Matte lips is a look we’ve seen on countless runways and magazine fashion spreads, but given we already have about three different lipsticks hidden away in every purse we own, we weren’t that compelled to add to the collection with new colors in this trendy finish. CARGO has the perfect solution though with its new Matte Top Coat, which transforms any lipstick into a fashion-forward shade. And brings new life to a couple of lipsticks we haven’t worn in awhile might we add! The first step involves applying your favorite lipstick, and blotting gently. We played around with a couple of different colors, and found that we liked the matte finish best when it came to deep reds – perfect for the holidays! It made our lips look more sophisticated and even fancier than a standard shiny or glossy finish.
