Mom Central received a sample of the iFi Smart Tag to facilitate this review. The views expressed here are entirely our own.

Misplaced, lost, or stolen, the iFi Smart Tag helps you to find and keep track of your valuables. Using a free, easy-to-use smart phone app, you can pair your iPhone (4S and 5 only) with one or more valuables of your choosing—such as your keys, purse, or backpack. This proves great for kids heading back to school or living on college campuses. If a backpack gets left behind in a classroom or dorm, the iFi system will send an email with a Google map pinpointing the last recorded location of the item as well as the time of separation. How cool is that?

When paired devices become separated for more than 25 to 30 feet, they start beeping. At home or in the office, beeping every time one of your valuables moves out of range would probably be annoying. With the iFi Smart Tag’s safe zone feature, you can set your home or office as a safe location to prevent unwanted alarm triggers.

Available online for $29.95, the iFi Smart Tag provides peace of mind at an affordable cost. For more information, visit ifisystems.com.
