When we get out and get active, we want to keep cool and look good at the same time. Wearing a hat gives the sun coverage we want, but we have to push our ponytail out the low opening at the back of the hat. The Hytail Hat provides sun protection while allowing our ponytails to sit as high as we’d like.
The idea of the Hytail Hat came about when Tesa Rogers went on vacation and wanted to wear a cap AND a high ponytail. (Sound familiar?) Tesa took scissors to her husband’s ball cap and cut a hole where she wanted her hair to emerge from the hat. The placement felt perfect, leading Tesa to believe others would want this same type of hat.
Sunglasses tend to feel tight under other hats we use when we get outdoors. The placement of the brim on the Hytail Hat offers room for our eye-wear unlike other hats. Another feature we love about this hat: if you forget your ponytail holder, no worries! The thick, two-inch elastic at the back of the hat holds your hair for you. You don’t need an elastic for your hair if you don’t want it.
Now everyone can enjoy a perfectly-placed ponytail whether they run, play tennis, hike, or simply run errands and want to wear their hair up in a cap. The Hytail Hat keeps you cool, allows your ponytail to sit exactly where you want it, and protects you from the harmful rays of the sun. We use the Hytail hat for outdoor jogs and tennis matches, and know you will find countless uses for yours.
