Making Snack Time Fun With Zoku Ice Pops 1In a fast-paced world in which there is hardly time to cook a unique meal, let alone cook at all (or even think about cooking!), a fun food offering often gets overlooked. Moms frequently find themselves stuck in food rut, creating the same dishes over and over again. Whether putting together “ants on a log” with celery and peanut butter, or a bag of popcorn, we all have our go-to snacks. Our childrens’ snack routines can become monotonous, which takes the fun out of our creating and their eating.

Since keeping food fun for children at any age promotes exploration and creativity, how can Moms help cultivate this learning? One way involves seeking out new ingredients, tools, and recipes for your kitchen. Switching up just one food item adds a whole new dimension to snack time. You can also make snack time more fun by having your children help and have fun while bonding. I love getting the chance to cook with my kids because it always seems that we have the best conversations over chopping carrots, kneading dough, or blending fruits together.

Zoku’s Ice Pop molds not only made our ice pops fun, but created seemingly endless possibilities for future snacks. I received the molds in one of the snowiest Februarys I ever witnessed. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the ice pops tasted delicious, providing refreshment after a long day at work. You can make anything from ice cubes to smoothie pops with these molds, so the possibilities never run out. I’ll make smoothie pops to enjoy after my next trip to the gym as a cool, healthy reward!

Making Snack Time Fun With Zoku Ice Pops 2Zoku Ice Pops come in so many different shapes and sizes, such as “Stewie” the turtle, and “Lucky” the bunny. To create your own Zoku ice pop, simply mix together what you want to freeze, from juices to fruit and yogurt or even water, and pour it into the mold. Later, pop the frozen mold upside down and enjoy your perfectly shaped snack!

Often, the hardest part of making traditional at-home ice pops is taking them out of the mold. With the flexible mold used by Zoku, the struggle is gone. With brightly colored molds shaped like cute characters that kids love, at $7.99 is a great price for some together time, not to mention a fun snack with endless possibilities! They even have a space-themed set of molds with rocket ships and an astronaut – what a great way to foster imagination through food.

Zoku Ice Pop molds will quickly become a new go-to for quick and easy snacks for kids, but because of their versatility and whimsical appearance, they will do everything but create a boring routine.
