Olympus Launches the OM-D E-M1 for Photography Enthusiasts

Although having a camera on my cell phone makes it easy to take photos on the go, I’ve realized that quality can certainly be compromised when trying to get that perfect shot – not only during special occasions such as family vacations, but during the special moments that occur during our day-to-day lives (perfect shot of the sunset, city skylines, sporting events and more!)

Recently I was invited to attend a special launch event for a truly revolutionary camera from Olympus – the OM-D E-M1.

This model is the company’s new flagship camera that is perfect for moderately advanced photographers looking for a high-performance tool in a compact system camera package. I was blown away by the incredible speed and image quality that this camera offers! I couldn’t believe how much power was packed into such a lightweight device.

This event was the perfect way to experience the new camera, as attendees took a “photo walk” of the Intrepid and had the chance to try out the new camera while filming everything from the Enterprise Shuttle to Blue Angels planes on the flight deck to the gorgeous Manhattan skyline – and even a fireworks display!
