The PBS Masterpiece Theatre series, Foyle’s War, tells a fascinating story of one man’s quest to conquer crime in a world that can’t escape the turmoil of World War II.
In a part of England usually free from disturbances, Detective Christopher Foyle (played by Michael Kitchen) finds the effects of the ongoing war have tainted this typically tranquil Sussex town. When an Austrian woman is found murdered, and a Swastika remains painted across a nearby tree, Foyle realizes the war may be closer to home than once was thought.
As this one particular investigation forges on, Foyle uncovers a slew of suspicious deaths and crimes, proving no country is safe from the effects of this grotesque war. This riveting series will have you hooked!
The four disc DVD also includes exclusive interviews with writer and creator Anthony Horowitz and cast filmographies.
